There have been instances where people have returned home from Splendor only to wind up here again. While away, they have no memory of ever being in this world to begin with and time has returned to the exact spot in which they left. It's almost like Splendor is a "pocket" in the timeline.

its possible seeing as nobody appears to be capable of aging here if the city is magic i dont see why it wouldnt be able to make it seem as if time is passing when it comes to our surroundings
