[ it's been awhile since ace got to splendor, yet the weird things that happen continue being, well, weird. tonight he's walking around the wonderland district; aimlessly at first glance. whatever destination he had in mind is now completely lost, as he's utterly distracted by the giant bubbles appearing all over. he doesn't have his camping kit ( Read more... )

[ heeey this voice is familiar. ]

It's not the way it worked back in my land, so yes, very.

Is that so? How did it work then? I admit it sounds rather curious.

It was sporadic. If it had to be night, it became night. If it had to be dawn, it was dawn. "Time" wasn't something that really mattered.

The time of day changed randomly? How strange. Did they all last for the same amount of time or was that sporadic as well?

They lasted as much as they wanted to last, I guess. IT wasn't a big deal.

I truly wonder if you would find anyone who wasn't from your own world that would find such a thing not strange.

Haha! If you had come to Heartland instead of Alice I wonder how you would have reacted.

Heartland? I presume that is the world from whence you came from? I admit that with such a bizarre manner of time it sounds rather intriguing.

... while they were most likely not the same type of roles, there are certainly roles to which others are bound within my world. [At the second part she laughs though.] Compassion? I highly doubt it.

Oh? So you're okay with hurting others and watching them get hurt?

[ interesting! ]

voice; no worries!! silpheeding May 17 2011, 01:06:21 UTC
To an extent, yes. [It'd take a lot to get her to step in for the sake of saving someone at least...]

How odd. I always thought people from foreign lands liked to stand up for others and protect them.

Oh rest assured, that is most certainly not the case. Those from 'foreign lands' can be even more heartless than you'd think.

[ . . . now there's an interesting topic. ]

"heartless"? people with hearts?

. . . wouldn't that be a waste?
