[ it's been awhile since ace got to splendor, yet the weird things that happen continue being, well, weird. tonight he's walking around the wonderland district; aimlessly at first glance. whatever destination he had in mind is now completely lost, as he's utterly distracted by the giant bubbles appearing all over. he doesn't have his camping kit

Days and nights, dusk and dawn . . . they come and go as they please in Heartland!

So dawn could just as easily follow day? It's hard to imagine such a world.

[He's not trying to be insulting, it's just hard to shake basic machine-logic sometimes]

That's right. And nights and days last however long they want to.

So you can see now, can't you? Why this kind of linear, strict succession of moments is weird.

I admit that I haven't found it weird at all. It was like this where I'm from.

[ well it's not like he was excited. meeting people from heartland is the worst thing, after all. ]

Then this land of Splendor must be quite easy to adapt to, I suppose.
