[ Casca is watching this, leaning against the wall ...the wall ...um, it's a wall. A nearby wall of something. She's regarding the scene with a bemused look, though she understands the frustration. Her own rapier is sheathed and secured by her side, slightly obscured in vision by her cape.

Her voice raises a bit, to try and catch his attention. ]

They don't like violence. It's best you don't threaten them.

[ oh . . . finally. it sounds like someone has a voice around here! he gets closer, wary of this-- stranger. ]

[ Her eyes narrow at the raising of his voice and his commanding tone. Her posture straightens against the wall, tensing a bit. ]

Calm down! I'm like you, okay!? I was taken here against my will!

[ MATURELY. ]

You're at a place called Splendor. Violence is not allowed here, but wishes are. [ She unfolds her arms, one hand gesturing out at the entranceway. ]

You're being held captive here, in a sense. There isn't a known way to leave.

I don't remember being kidnapped!!

Well, you were taken here against your will.

Yes. The music box. We all heard it, apparently, before we came. But we were brought here -- probably by the Locals or something. It's frustrating, isn't it? That they won't be cooperative?

It's like this place is forcing us to be creative with ways to find answers.

[ She pauses, then allows her arms to fall to her sides, taking a step forward. ]

Do I sound crazy? I sound ...crazy, right? You know, I never thought that maybe I had gone crazy, or died, or it as all some sort of feverish dream up until ...

[ Her fingers splay as she looks at him through them, in a manner that almost looks shy, except for the disassociated look in her eyes. ]

[ Her hands fall from her face, one gripping the handle of her sword. ]

What do we do now? A place like this. You can't go back, you know. Do you have a purpose back home? Will your absence change anything?

[ he knows a woman just as crazy back home, after all. ]
