Splendor, hm?
It certainly has a better ring to it than my last residence.

Ah. I believe I have everything under control at this point, but thank you, Mr. ...?

Mr. Mozart--as in the composer?

... Let's just say it was a post apocalyptic city and leave it at that, shall we?
Ah. But do you know of Manhattan?

Now that's interesting.
I'm sure I'm not the first to say I'm familiar with your work.

Then I would prefer to say that I am formerly from there rather than my last residence.

No, you're not... [moment of consideration] This places brings others from sorts of worlds, some which haven't even heard of my name. It's a shame that Mozart isn't known in such worlds but you're one of the more fortunate.

Wouldn't that meant that you're not in fact from Manhattan?

[A faint smirk. Oh well wasn't this man a little full of himself? In any case, he'll indulge him a little. After all, Mozart of all people could be allowed some measure of vanity.]
I definitely agree, though I'm afraid jazz over classical has been the most recent craze. In my time, at the very least.

Aah. I should explain. I'm originally from Manhattan, though in truth I haven't seen it for several months.

Oh, are you from the early twentieth century? Splendor manipulates with time as well as worlds. It wouldn't be impossible.

I see. I've never been there.

No, it definitely wouldn't be impossible.
Places like this often operate that way. Even those pulled from the same world are oftentimes from different times.
1932 exactly, in case you were curious.

Even if you had, it probably wouldn't be the same Manhattan that I remember.

You're acquainted with worlds like Splendor? How did you leave?

<3 I actually like this interaction so far. Hurr hurr calmveneer April 28 2011, 02:58:25 UTC
If by that you mean worlds that take you from your home, then yes. One other one exists, at the very least

It was hardly a choice, though I'm not necessarily complaining about being here at this point.

Me, too! Mozart needs more not so psycho friends. *u* clonezart April 28 2011, 03:17:07 UTC
How peculiar. To think there were other worlds like Splendor... However I would much prefer to return home.

It's perfectly understandable. Where was home for you?
Aah. I apologize, I'm afraid I'm no expert on your biography.

I've never heard of that academy, but we at least have Earth in common.

If you don't mind my asking, exactly what year was it?
