[While Tsuna had agreed not to say anything to Kyoko when he first arrived in Splendor because Kyoko had been from a time before the Shimon, circumstances had changed. Now Kyoko knew of the shimon students and two of them were here as well. If Enma decided to lash out at them and Kyoko got caught up in the crossfire because she wanted to be friends with everyone...Tsuna would never forgive himself.
And here, even though Kyoko knew something was wrong, she was still supporting them, just like she did in the future. She had a right to know even if he wanted nothing more to protect her and keep her from getting involved. Biting his lip, he gets up from his bed and walks down to the kitchen]
[It takes her a moment to react, the sudden wave of familiarity hitting her a bit harder than expected. She wasn't expecting this - not now, at least. Not this soon.
Tsuna's expression is a bit more somber than the last time he approached her like this, but the tone of the moment was the same, and it was that tone that told her it was probably pointless to pretend like she didn't know something was wrong.]
[It's not that she doesn't believe him; his explanation would explain the reactions she's seen. She just doesn't understand; everyone was getting along so well.]
There's been...misunderstandings. Lots of them, between our ancestors.
[This, Tsuna knew for sure. He pauses for a moment, trying to figure out how to explain everything]
The Shimon family had believed that my ancestor betrayed theirs and was the main reason why they were suffering so much. And that's why they were angry at the Vongola. They had moved to Namimori and then befriended us so they could take back something that originally belonged to the Shimon family.
But for them to get what they wanted, they had to make sure the inheritance ceremony continued. My inheritance ceremony. It would be the only time that the thing they wanted would be brought out - it was called 'sin'.
I wasn't going to go through with the inheritance ceremony at first. But when Yamamoto was attacked and we learnt that it was because Yamamoto must have heard of their plans somehow. So we used the ceremony to lure them out...and that's when we discovered they were our enemies. They defeated us easily and took Chrome with them. For Yamamoto and Chrome...we had to go after them.
Even so, I still can't see them as our enemies. I still consider Enma-kun to be my friend and the others...I think although they're still upset over being betrayed like that, they feel the same way too.
[She feels her heart skip and stomach drop as Tsuna talks. It was like the future all over again. People her friends cared about - people she cared about - were getting hurt and into trouble.
It takes her a moment to find her voice, and she decides to bypass most of what was said and jump to the part that she felt involved her - the part important to her.]
Is-is everyone alright? Yamamoto-kun...and Chrome-chan... [She trailed off, but her thought train continued. And Tsuna. And big brother. And everyone else - even the Shimon students. It was a bad situation to say the least, but what mattered to her was that everyone would be safe at the end of it all.]
Before I was brought back here, we finally found Chrome. She looked okay but there was something--I was brought back here before I could talk to her. As for Yamamoto...he was still in the hospital.
And here, even though Kyoko knew something was wrong, she was still supporting them, just like she did in the future. She had a right to know even if he wanted nothing more to protect her and keep her from getting involved. Biting his lip, he gets up from his bed and walks down to the kitchen]
Kyoko-chan?

Hi Tsuna-kun! Are you hungry at all? I'm making dinner! It'll be a few more minutes, though.

What is it, Tsuna-kun?

It's about the shimon students. You've noticed Big Brother and Gokudera-kun don't seem very happy about them, right?
