So, I heard one of you mention there was a story about me? Or, well, probably not about me, but someone with the same name. Which makes me wonder....What kind of stories did you have, back home, Splendor?

Back home, people used to tell stories about the Descender.

What's a "Descender"? I've never heard of that before.

Well, where I'm from, there's a thing called a World Tree, which makes mana, the life force of all things. It's really important.

And because it's so important, should the Tree ever face danger, it will give birth to a Descender -- a being who will protect the world from whoever tries to bring it harm.

[Kind of like a superhero.]

A "World Tree"? That sounds interesting. I'm not sure if Corona has one back home, I've never heard of it, or mana before.

Not every world has one, from what I've heard. I asked about it once, and most people had no idea what I was talking about. And I've looked all over Splendor, but there isn't one here either.

But they look like normal trees, just really big! The one at home.... I think the roots went out far enough to take up an entire district, if not more.
