[The weather's agreeable enough. Which means Asch is out scouting the city once again, looking for anything out-of-the-ordinary. Only this time he's taken a birds-eye-view approach

[HELLO CREEPER ON THE ROOF. Natalia is calmly stepping out of the hospital door, she looks a bit worried though. She seems in thought for a few minutes, before she begins to walk down the street]
[Asch checks the time briefly. Okay, so this is quickly becoming less about information gathering and more about personal interest...]
[The redhead glances around for an easy way to get back down to ground level. Finally he spots a trellis not far from Natalia's path of travel. He lands some yards behind her, his boots hitting the ground with a dull, but audible, thud.]
[Natalia seems to be looking around. Where is that girl? She hasn't seen her anywhere. However her eyes do widen a little as she turns, seeing a familiar figure]
[It seems he's already been noticed. Asch steps away from the building's shadows, raising an eyebrow in silent question.]
[Asking "what are you doing here?" would be stupid, and asking "why are you hesitating?" would be doubly stupid - because it'd be the same as admitting he was spying on her the city.]
...It's just me. You don't have to look so surprised.
It's not like her to stray too far from me or the others at the Estate. Me especially. [she lowers her eyes, all too anxious. the princess loves this little girl, much like she would a little sister, and to not know where she is, while she's been so sad lately, so unlike herself..]
[ . . . thanks Asch. ;I The Princess peers down, eyes lowered, face calm. She hadn't wanted it to end like that. With Akane crying about that Izaya-character. . about how things were back at home for her. But she was thankful for meeting her. It was..unfortunate indeed.]
[Asch could have said something else. Could have reminded Natalia of all the good she's likely done for the child. But he doesn't. It all seems so very obvious to him, hardly worth mentioning. There's so much else to deal with - not enough time to waste wondering what's befallen each missing person.]
[His mind flicks back briefly to his meetings with that kid. She was so trusting. Too trusting. To come up and grab someone randomly... what was she thinking?!]
[Asch makes an irritated sound in the back of his throat and looks away, back down the street.]
...Suit yourself. [Uttered quietly as Asch walks past her with every intention of resuming his business of scouting the city. A few feet away he pauses and turns his head halfway back in Natalia's direction.]
If I learn anything, I'll let you know. Just don't count on it.

It's not that. I'm just looking for someone.

Who and for what reason?

She's been so out of sorts. I'm worried about her.

[Right, that little kid who lives in the same residence as Natalia. He's bumped into her a few times.]
You think she's missing?

..Yes.

[Asch has never been one to sugarcoat the truth. He's not about to start now.]
If that's the case, there's nothing else you can do.

..I see.
