Hey, um... Anybody notice that guy, Xehanort, is gone? He said he was gonna teach me some stuff but now he's gone.

[Kicks the dirt.]

He was kinda weird but... nobody else noticed. And... I dunno, I think it's kinda sad that no one cares. Everybody should have at least one person to care about them... right?

He's gone? Oh - [Julian moves as if to stand up and cross the castle to check to see for himself if Xehanort's room was empty... but he changes his mind and remains where he is] - wait. The older gentleman with no hair and a beard, yes?

Yeah, that's him! I met him when I first got to Splendor.

I... I didn't realise. [Julian frowns quietly] You're right, of course; everyone should have someone to care about them. I feel rather rotten for not noticing sooner. [:c]

Well... Yeah. But I can't be the only person... Can I?

Well, I never actually met this guy, but most people have a lotta people who care. And even if he doesn't have more than one, I think all anyone really needs is one person, so long as it's the right person.

You really think so? Well, I do care that he left. I wish more people did but I guess if at least I do, then that's okay.

[What? He seemed like a perfectly nice old man.]

He said he was gonna teach me how to go to other worlds, like he does.

[Pouts slightly:] He didn't do nothing bad here though.

I don't know how to travel to different worlds at all though.

[Kairi does happy faces very well.] When?

[Oh Riku cares, though probably not in the way you'd like. After about half a month of not even finding the slightest trace of Xehanort anywhere in Splendor, he has become sure that the old Master was gone for good now and for his part he is more than glad about it.

But this!? The thought of Xehanort teaching Kairi; just of him being even near her, makes his stomach twist. Has he already failed at protecting her?]

Kairi... what was he going to teach you?

[But he was such a nice old man, Riku. So Kairi thinks anyway. He was plenty nice to her, in any case.]

He said he was gonna teach me how to go to other worlds, once I got used to Splendor. But now he's gone.

Thankfully that sounds harmless enough; though there had very probably been some kind of ulterior motive.]

Kairi... I don't think he could have taught you that, even if he was still here. It's not possible to travel to other worlds from Splendor - at least not through any method I know. Believe me; I've tried.

But, it would work if I did it from home, wouldn't it? Even if we can't leave Splendor, at least I learned it, right?
