[Remember that talk they had, Shirley? About…the whole ‘relax’ and ‘don’t think so much’ conversation?

Well. To say that to Lelouch is kind of like telling a person not to breathe. Because here he is…thinking.]

The wishes…[A beat.] has anyone continued studying how they work? Has anyone reached any limitations that this place may have put on ( Read more... )

You can't wish for a way out of here, obviously. [Most people tried that. Um...] You can't... wish for someone to be here. [He's tried.] It doesn't seem like you can wish for stuff that'd only be local to your own world - like a guy tried to wish up one of the cute creatures from his world for me, and it ended up being a toy, not the real thing.

I'm not sure what else there's limitations on though... I guess those are the big things people've tried.

Yeah. My lute came, so I guess it isn't something just my world has~ Which is pretty nice. [Well, he doesn't know if it's his exact lute, but-- well, it's an instrument he's happy with, and that's that.] I wouldn't want to pry, but... What'd you try to wish for?

There are lutes in my world as well. [There's a short pause as he thinks of what to tell Eco, however. He doesn't want to exactly say that it's a big machine of death.] Something that I could defend myself with, if need be.

[Vague enough yet?]

A sword? [It's the first thing he can think of. And he has one under his bed. And he'll never have to use it.]
