[ Toph has found her way up to the Alpine District, having finally (grudgingly) allowed someone to read the wooden key that she'd found and thus discovered that some "Cabin #4" was supposed to have room for her.
Maybe this wasn't the Spirit World, since her bending still worked, but Toph had no explanation to anything that was happening since she had found herself near the gateway. So she was rolling with it, like a stone.
But that doesn't stop her from grumbling about it. ]
