Jeez, I almost missed how many days into March it's already been! Every time I look at the date, I'm always surprised how much time has gone by. Soon enough, I'll have been in this city for five months. Normally I wouldn't say that's very long, but I suppose when you're stuck somewhere, that much feels like a really long time

Not a requirement, I presume, since our homes were assigned out of convenience, necessity. Regardless, it is a pleasure to be sharing quarters with you.

Maybe they aren't, but it's still nice not to stay strangers, right? Anyway, likewise! I hope to get along well.

Which is more comfortable-- staying strangers or developing attachments? I vouch for the former. Perhaps my priorities are disadvantageous.

You've resided here a long time. Does it become easier, in your own opinion?

Easier? Maybe... In a sense you get used to it more, but I still miss being home a lot... Have you been around for very long?

I suppose your situation back home must weight heavily on such an opinion. I have resided here approximately three months. Less troubling than I had originally imagined.

It's true that I had a lot going on, but it's more than that. Some of my friends are here, but not all of them, and-- well, it's home, you know? But I've heard of others that don't mind being here, so I know it's not like that for everybody.

I am personally conflicted in that regard, but I comprehend your meaning. Returning-- half troublesome, half relieving. Though the same can be said for this city.

You're... probably right about that. I mean, I'm not exactly attached to this city itself, even if it is kind of nice, but I do appreciate some of the people I've been able to meet.
