Jeez, I almost missed how many days into March it's already been! Every time I look at the date, I'm always surprised how much time has gone by. Soon enough, I'll have been in this city for five months. Normally I wouldn't say that's very long, but I suppose when you're stuck somewhere, that much feels like a really long time ( Read more... )

What makes you think they are lucky for leaving? How do you know they aren't now stuck some place much, much worse than this? ♪

You're not the first to say that, but I'd rather not think that they're ending up somewhere worse.

Why not? Unless you like lying to yourself. ♪

And the only thing wrong with this place is that they don't allow you to have any fun.

Let's turn the table around then-- how can you say for sure they are going to worse place? And if you're that bored, picking up a hobby might do you some good.

The disappearance rate is hard to approximate, since it seems pretty random.

As for how they do it - well, it appears that they all simply stopped talking with others, or going around the city, or meeting people, for a long time. [He seems more thoughtful:] But it sounds like a very lonely way of leaving.

One commonality shared by some of those who left was that no one had seen or heard from them in a while.
