[Having found herself in a place she could only have dreamed up, Nanako did as her father had taught her, found a spot nearby and waited for him to find her. But would he? Could he even find her in a place like this, when he was probably still down at the station with her cousin?
But Nanako is a good girl, and so she waits for him for awhile anyway, until her feet start to tingle from standing in one spot. She shuffles from foot to foot to wake them up, and soon after she starts to walk. She's been absently playing with the key around her neck all this while, though its existence has not yet registered for her.
She is hungry, she's confused, and she's trying not to feel frightened, so she bites her lip and forces herself to be strong. She wishes her dad would show up soon, or big bro, or any familiar face. She wishes she were back home, even if that meant sitting in an empty house not knowing when her family would return.
But she's not; she's here and she's alone. For now, anyway.]
