[ Kurt was on his way to buy groceries, and at around the time his seal informed him of a new message, which he promptly read, he saw...

An odd-looking kid with viking-like horns and gray skin. In a wheelchair. Just sort of sitting there on the sidewalk in front of him, messing with his seal.

This was the first time Kurt had ever met a troll, and for a long time he just stared. Eventually he blurted out: ]

Are those real? [ Gesturing toward Tavros's horns. ]

( Tavros whipped his head around to see who was talking to him, and from the looks of it, it was a human boy. Pointing at his horns. And while it was probably just an innocuous question, it was enough to make the troll blush brown and laugh nervously. )

Uhh, y-yeah... they're, uhh, they're real...

[ OH CRAP THAT WAS PROBABLY RUDE. His eyes widened once he realized what he'd just said, and he raised one hand, palm out, as if doing so would stop him from saying anything stupid again. ] I mean... that was probably rude. Sorry. I've never seen... anyone like you before.
