He's raking his hand back through his untidy white hair, teeth gritted, looking monstrously confused.]

[Kid's voice is now randomly invading his head and it's just a little freaky. Soul whirls around quickly, but there's no one there! What the hellll. Maybe it works exactly like the strange texting phenomenon he had the misfortune of encountering before.

He stops, then speaks somewhat slowly and deliberately, as though he half expects nothing to happen.]

...Kid? Where are you?

[ a sigh; really now, it's not like they were from a place where electronic communications were unusual, even if this was a magical equivalent ]

[He digs for it immediately. So this is what all the communication powers stemmed from? He feels slightly ripped off. They could've at least given him a current gen phone. Way cooler.]

Thank god. I was thinking maybe everyone had telepathy here or something.

Anyway, Maka pretty much already tried to convince me we're stuck here, so I guess I have no choice but to believe it for now. Should I be worried?

I'm not in the Book of Eibon, no. But now you, Black*Star, and Maka have mentioned that same event. At least you all have a similar timeframe in common.

Finally some good news. I still don't get how we ended up remembering different things, but I guess we have lots of time to figure it out.
