No. When I knew him? He still had half a brain. Whatever he's done to himself since then's caused him to lose his marbles.
[The answers would come in due time, but he isn't the kind to open up; it would entail trust, and right now he has none for anyone just like before. The closest he would come to it is with Ventus and the kid had killed him in his time. Thus, it was pretty messed up.]

It... takes him a moment to reply. Both because he led Riku to the Factory itself, and because he was in a state of shock. Why would this girl want to help him? It made no sense...
Vanitas makes a face under the hood, not knowing how to deal with it. On one hand, he needed the assistance to get back to the Wonderland District to where he would be hiding for a while and the other... his pride. Ugh.]
... If you can get me close to the Wonderland district, I can make it the rest of the way on my own.

Well, did that little blue fox-thing answer her question? Either way, by the time she gets there, Vanitas looks slightly better than he did over the feed, now leaning against a tree as the Flood vanishes from sight. Welcome to his world, Xion. Population: weird people he doesn't understand at all.]
