The filters are subjective too. Someone a while ago set up a test to see what they were capable of. If you're interested, I can direct you to the results.

I suggest perhaps getting settled into whatever rooming they've assigned you first.

They're like privacy settings, able to block or allow certain people from receiving your messages.

Ooh… I think I get it. [ A beat ] That's a little weird. [ Translation: That's really, really weird ] What's the point of 'filtering?' Besides keeping some stuff private.

It takes some getting used to. It helps if you have something similar in the world you've come from.

As for the point, you'll quickly learn that this place is quite large... and it can be disconcerting for everyone to hear everything you say.
