Well I don't know quite where I am though I'm told this place is called Splendor. I rather prefer to think that I'm exploring than lost though. Being lost doesn't sound at all fun but exploring sounds grand!
[Ashlin bites her lip, hesitant. So far these people have seemed nice but she's never been good at this sort of thing.]

I wonder if that means we'll be staying in the same place. [She notices Yuna looking at something just over her shoulder and freezes when she realizes that is where Bo-Bo is.]
Do you. . . see something? [Ashlin is waiting with baited breath, a mix of anticipation, and fear and hope swirling in her gut. She sounds strained trying to hold it all in. If she could see him. No one else could ever. . . ]
You can see him? The blue and white creature made of smoke? Really? [Ash wants to bounce up and down in joy. This place as others who can see Bo-Bo, and it endears her to it faster than anything else could have.]
Well actually I'm not really sure. Bo-Bo's always been with me, and everyone has them where I'm from though I've never met anyone else who can see them.
[Thinking back on her travels and her search for answers Ashlin remembers a hint of something she'd learned once.] I, well, I think some people call them Shadows. But I'm not really sure. [It frustrates her sometimes how little she knows about her constant companion, but it isn't as if she hasn't tried to figure out the truth.]
[Bo-Bo is watching Yuna just as curiously, and trills happily when she waves at him, returning the gesture.]
Hmmm I think so, I mean he's been with me as long as I can remember. [She turns to Bo-Bo.] We've been together since I was born right? [This is answered with a nod, and a trill. Ashlin smiles, satisfied with the answer.]
