[Oh... oh! With the king and Xion arriving too, this week is really turning out to be his lucky one, isn't it? Riku can't help but smile. They had only talked a few times; but he had liked Aqua and he is glad to see her back.]

They both were here; Ventus still is. So is your master by the way. Welcome back, Aqua.

[Riku hesitates a moment - he had heard about this happening; about people coming back without remembering Splendor at all, but... this is the first time it concerns someone he knows...

What now; she had recognized him when he had arrived, she probably would now too.]

It happens sometimes... people are drawn to Splendor from all over the worlds; sometimes they disappear again and return without remembering their previous stay... Or so I've heard anyway.

[But she's willing to get to know you again-you really cleared things up for her after all, and she's grateful for that.]

[Aqua was generally pretty good with people, and he seemed nice enough-ah, but when you can't remember anything...]

[Yet another pause as Riku struggles with himself. Of course he could lie and draw this out until they met face to face, when she would be likely to recognize him anyway, but... he had promised Mickey to fix it all... and he had to start somewhere right?]

[She's just met Kairi and Sora again, so yes, her memory is quite recently reminded of all the little children she's met-]

[Riku's voice sounds caught somewhere between dry amusement and resignation. It's a little hard to go over this again, because he just isn't really sure how to approach her. There hadn't been enough time to truly get to know her before she had disappeared and he had tried to keep to himself so much back then, but he now wishes he wouldn't have and had used the opportunity - just like with Terra - because somewhere there is a connection in all of this, between all of them, but he just doesn't know what it is. But here is a second chance and perhaps, this time he can use it.]

I'd hope so. ...It's been eleven years for me since you visited the Islands.

[E-Eleven years?! Had she been stuck for-no, calm down... The alterations between timelines-that was the explanation, yes.

That's a...long time. [Bit of a pause there, because her brain is super-processing right now and it's kinda hard to hold a conversation while that's going on... Alright, she needs some straight answers, and Riku's going be the one to give 'em to her. 'kay she's got this:]

Yeah. Pulling people from random points in the time line seems to be Splendor's idea of a joke.

[If anyone understands having trouble processing that, it's him - there are ten years between him and his two best friends after all. He hesitates a little before answering to the next bit; meeting her before, going through this conversation the second time now, doesn't make it any less awkward.]

So, um... [Soft, hesitant laugh before switching to video and greeting him with a smile across her lips. Whether this is a genuine smile or one born from confusion, it's hard to tell-confusion is the most probable pick. Though she's a kind person in general, so...genuine kindly confusion?]

...Not recently. [Good luck with getting anything more specific than that out of him. But yeah, she is glad that she about lets it drop and moves to a more neutral topic. One that isn't quite that awkward to talk about.]

The world is called Splendor and if you haven't moved too much from where you arrived; you are still in Metropolis District. Splendor itself is... a pretty much unique world. It's kinda sentient... and it fulfills wishes.
