[He doesn't want to make Sora feel any worse since he's getting better, and it'll give the blond more time to think about how to breach the subject about Vanitas with the child.]

Alright! I'll be there in a few minutes!

[The feed cuts, and he takes a moment to wish for two hot chocolates in a thermos. Then, Ven leaves the castle to head over to Tenna Villa. He pauses at the door to collect his thoughts and knocks on the door.]

[Action! Forever!]

[Sora answers the door right away. And sure enough, he still looks tired.]

Hey, Ven!

Hey, Sora!

[He'd hair ruffle you, but his hands are full.]

Mind if I come in?

[And so he opens the door wide enough for him!]

[Ven walks inside, and glances around the foyer to see where the "living room" is. Spying a couch in the next room, he goes over to sit down, setting the thermoses on the coffee table. He waits for Sora to get settled before saying what he needs to say.]

Um...Sora? I don't think you should see Van anymore. He's done some...really bad things.

[How can he say this without saying too much or too little? Or at least for Sora to understand?]

[Sora's happy and excited until... That line of conversation.]

...He doesn't seem like he'd do bad things.

Well...just be careful, okay? Have a grown-up with you or something. Can you do that for me?

[There's not much else he can do but try to minimalize contact, and have someone who can help Sora if Vanitas makes his move. The child didn't need to get caught up in the storm dark plans Xehanort and Vanitas cook up. Though, the warning about the old Master might have to wait another day.]

[Which is sad, Ventus, because you'd have some effect when it comes to Xehanort.]

[G'damn these meds. Ven gently ruffles his hair, having a brief internal debate about Xehanort. It can't hurt to at least ask if Sora's seen him around.]

He's kinda...creepy, like he doesn't give you a good feeling. But if you see him, go get Master Eraqus, okay? Something just doesn't...sit well with me about that old man.

[And it's true. He might not know if Xehanort's being truthful or not, but he certainly doesn't have a good feeling about him. Add that to the one memory he has of his past before being left in the Land of Departure, and Ven isn't about to trust him as far as he can throw him.]
