[ he wasn't technically working for julius anymore, but he still hanged around his workshop everyday. sure, he got restless from time to time and took “short” walks that got him lost for hours, but at least he was doing better now-somewhat. a few things were certain now: there was no mafia, no amusement park, no clock tower . . . and no heart castle.
little by little, it became apparent that the land of splendor was completely unattached and unrelated to the rules of the game of his world. ace was expecting nightmare to appear in his dreams and mock him for believing in his illusion, but so far, nothing.
and he couldn't be happier.
