Well, all right.

Until recently I was a cop. The town I came from was pretty nice--real family place, you know? Maybe not the perfect setting, but good enough to raise the kids... A couple weeks back things started happening. We got some reports of murders--pretty grisly ones, too.

I won't waste time on details, but the short version is that pretty soon, the whole town was going crazy. And things... there were things in that town that weren't human. Or animal. Stuff you just wouldn't believe even if you saw it.

[Only Kevin could really talk about Raccoon that easily. And even he has the human decency to keep at lot of the story to himself. He's just not as struck with trauma as the others.]

About now I could use something to keep me busy. Never did much work outside of being a cop, but I'm up for trying new things.

You were police? There's a law enforcement group under Captain Denoia, if you still feel like being a lawman. But there's also a lot of other options - restockers, maintenance, and shop employees.... New things, right?

I wonder if I should. Always did like working on things, but I never really thought about it. I guess you can say I was born and bred for the uniform.
