[ Today, there is a new face sauntering about the Metropolis District. He seems like an ordinary schoolboy, but if there is one thing unusual about him, it would be that he looks as though he's just gotten an ass-whooping.
His name? It's Kumagawa Misogi.
His appearance? Blood is smeared all over his face; there are numerous puncture wounds all over his skin, resembling tiny fang marks; and his outfit -- a simple black gakuran -- is ripped and torn at several places. Overall, he looks -- and should understandably feel -- like shit. Strangely enough, however, the young man seems to be fine, and he is straight up cheesin' it; in other words, the guy's wearing a big ol' smile on his face!
Still, despite looking as if he hadn't a care in the world, Kumagawa is quite perplexed. Usually, whenever he died, he would wind up at his old middle school's homeroom, where he would be forced to see her--
Ah, no, no, no. Now's not the time to think about that -- about her; not when he's found himself in an unfamiliar place. There are more important matters to worry about, such as acquiring more information about his current whereabouts. ]
『. . . !』 [ At this point, he comes to a halt, realizing something. Earlier, when he arrived, he heard voices coming from the strange object he found in his pocket. If the voices came from other people, then maybe . . . they could hear his voice, too! If that's the case, then he could use the device, as well -- to ask for help!
Fetching the seal from his pant pocket, Kumagawa quickly holds it up, and proceeds to speak to it. ]
『Er . . . Hi! Hello! Can anyone hear me? Helloooooo!』
[ And since he prefers face-to-face communication, the feed suddenly activates, revealing Kumagawa's beaming countenance. ]
『Eeeeeh?! Oh wow! It's like a webcam . . . awesome!!』 [ A beat, and then he winks at the screen. ] 『. . . Hi there! My name is Son Goku! It's a pleasure to meet you! I hope it's not too much to ask, but . . . I require your assistance! Please help me!!』
