[[If you are familiar with the Alpine District, you'll probably recognize that Kino is actually pretty far on her way out of it. All the white around her is almost blinding.
She has on her winter coat and the flaps on her cap are buckled down over her ears; her goggles are on as well, shielding her eyes from the wind. Still, she can't hide her shivering.
For a few long moments, she just looks at the seal angrily, though it is a somewhat muted expression--the dark, serious tone to her eyes is what speaks the loudest. There is only the sound of the wind howling, until Hermes's tired whine is heard.]]
... Kinooo ... come on. What are you going to do?
[[She closes her eyes for a moment, and when she opens them, they are calmer. This is when she finally speaks.]]
If I wish for a clear path out of this mountain range, to the other side, what do you think will happen?
