Yes. There are many scenarios that can interfere with the proper reaping of a soul. Unscheduled death is the largest cause. Normally due to [and here he starts to sound exasperated] demons or inadequate officers.

As well as other standard rules. Arriving to work on time, following the dress code, documenting and filing paperwork properly, maintaining a professional attitude.
