Just over a week? I- at least I think so. I've not really been k-keeping track.

I see. That's wonderful, not the circumstances but that you both arrived here. How exactly did you two meet?

He- we live together, a-actually. We were just... out, and then, er, we found that weird little music box... [ he trails off a little uselessly, still not quite believing how exactly he and Julian ended up here. ] But that, uhm, is basically it. Not very exciting.

[ the exact way in which he and Julian met is somewhat awkward and convoluted, so he settles for the vaguest answer he can give. ]

Then that must truly be a comfort then. I'm also fortunate to have arrived with familiar faces as well.

It takes some time to understand the workings of this place, if at all.

Yeah. Yeah, it definitely is. I don't really, uh, know that many people back home, let alone here. W-wherever here really is.

[ he's starting to calm down a little bit now, in any case. ]

I'll bet. This place is ... weird. [ ... ] When you say "some time", though, is there an approximate time-frame? It probably depends on the person, but- still.

Well, I'm not certain considering we're from different worlds. Timing in my world is different, as I'm told that I arrived in a date called 'October'.

It's just interesting. My world of Auldrant is divided between two nations, the kingdom of Kimlasca-Lanvaldear and the Empire of Malkuth. The only thing close to this 'democracy' you speak of is the autonomous state of Daath..

... huh. That's- that's pretty interesting too. Democracy's quite a big deal over here- I'm not really greatly versed in politics or anything, b-but I know that much.
