[Today, Eco's treating a certain grump to lunch. It's nothing much (though through his exploring Eco had at least found one restaurant that was relatively delicious and not so hard on a meager budget in the Alpha District, which was hard because seriously, it is horribly expensive) and honestly, it's to butter up Belca for what he's going to ask him. Also, it's pretty cute to watch the third prince of Azelprade stuff his face like a pig. Oink oink.]
Hey, Belca, if you're not careful I'll really write a song about how gluttonous you are~
[Belca's mouth is too stuffed to get a word out, so he opts to send Eco a withering look instead. Eco pretends not to notice it and continues, albeit it's in a far lower voice, just enough for Belca to hear and not much else.]
By the way, I talked to some Oz guy, and I got you a date with his best friend! Great, huh? It's important for you to get out and make some friends, so Eco'll help you out just a little! But you've got to start doing it on your own too, oka-- huh? What's that look for?
[After a moment more of that look, Belca’s chewing slows down. Slower. S l o w e r... He stops. The fork lowers a little.]
Wait, are you serious? Eco! What are you trying to pull? Who said I’d do something like-
[The fork’s been dropped by now. Oink oink seems to have turned into a pretty sour grrr...]
It’ll be fun, promise! Oh, and he thinks you’re a chick, so you’ll have to be cute little Mariebelle again, okay?

[Yeah, this doesn’t seem to be going over very well. Belca’s incredibly red in the face, and he’s just about shoved his bowl away from himself, now (but he knows he’d regret it later, so he’s still keeping it close). He does, however, stand up with a clatter, bringing his hands down hard on the table.]
You can’t just go around doing whatever you want! I’m not going to-!
[Furious blushing.]
Uwah, Belca, sit down! You’re gonna attract unfavorable attention if you keep it up!
[Eco’s right too, coz they’re getting a few looks by now.]
Just calm down, okay?
Calm down? You’ve got to be- [But he does stoop back to his seat, and he hisses this time instead: ] You’ve got to be kidding me-! Eco, I’m not-
[And he’s turning in his seat with a huff, snatching up his bowl and pointedly not facing Eco. So there.]
[ooc: So here's the lowdown: Once upon a time, Eco said he'd treat Belca out, and thus here it is. He's also taken the time to mention the fact he's offered him a chance to go on a date with the ever fantastic Oz's BFF!! Which he arranged for him without him knowing, coz Belca needs more friends. 8) Eco's the best best friend ever.
Action for those involved (or if one happens to be passing by a horridly fancy restaurant in the Alpha District - you might see a pantomime of what's going on, but the weird looks from everyone on the other side of the window are enough), but feel free to voice/video it up since any sort of interruption is welcome.
