[If you're in the Golden District, or more specifically the Carter Estate, you might notice that there seems to be some kind of banquet inside and a blonde girl swirling around in some sort of dance as she laughs gleefully; a goblet of wine in one hand and her Seal in another. You see, after she arrived and had to wander around in search of her ( Read more... )

[Natalia, still holding boxes of lights and ornaments, preparing to decorate more of the trees, stared mutely in confusion at the sight of a woman in a lavish dress, one of royalty, twirling around well, rather carelessly. The princess eyed her warily, as she drank and laughed, all the while most of them were trying to decorate.

Setting her box down, she walked towards her, eyebrow raised]

I take it you have just arrived?

[Saber stops her dance to stare at the other girl, then slowly quirks her lips into a smile. How fortunate that the first she sees in person is a beautiful girl!]

Indeed, I have! And judging from the box of decorations in your arms, can I assume that you are my esteemed host?

In that case I suppose a welcome is in order, Miss. We're in Splendor City, and this is the Carter Estate. It seems our renovations have lent others enough to celebrate. [she raises an eyebrow at that question, but instead, offers a polite, cordial smile. After all, manners come first and foremost.]

Simply a another brought here against their will, just as you have been. I'm assisting in decorations for Christmas. [that she learned about just recently and oh lord so exciting *^*]

[for a split second, she frowns at the mention of Christmas but quickly reverts back to a smile.]

I see, so you are preparing for the Winter Solstice? In my days, we would be celebrating Brumalia.

Brumalia? I confess I've never heard of such a thing. Is it so different?

Indeed! Brumalia is held to honor Bacchus and the festivities are generally celebrated for a month until it concludes on the 25th of December.

Something of the sort. Personally I only enjoy the parties and try to make them as grand as I can.

Are you perhaps of the nobility, miss?

Fufu... indeed, you are wise. In my life, I was an Emperor.

Pardon me for asking, but did you perhaps pass on before arriving here?

Hmm... it's complicated. But yes, I suppose you can say that.

You have my condolences, then. I'm certain your people must be suffering a great loss.

[Her fondness for Natalia definitely goes up for saying that and she beams proudly, like a child praised by her parents.]

Naturally! My reign was a prosperous one, and even before I ascended to the throne I contributed many great works to my empire. Even the children sang me praises!

[Wait until she finds out what sort of royalty you are. Enjoy it while you can..]

Excellent, after all, the purpose of royalty is to first and foremost serve the people, as befits the position. I'm so glad you agree.

[If she had her way, you would hopefully never find out...]

Mmhm! That is quite right. I believed that my people should enjoy their lives as much as I do. Thus I tried to issue policies that would benefit them in addition to building public centers, especially ones that would promote the arts.
