Maybe she's just overreacting.

Characters: Kanonno (floweronmyhead) and Luke fon Fabre (oldest7yearold )
Where & When: Some time after this thread, in the Splendor Forest.
Rating & Why: A for Angst? I dunno. PG at worst.
Summary: A case of mistaken identity ends up leading to a whole lot of crying on someone who has no idea what you're talking about.

Well, that's one way to have a conversation about Mother's Day. An innocent, if not awkward, question about how to give flowers turned into a being asked if she was a threat just for not being human. Letting her hand with the seal fall down by her side, she turned around, leaned her back against the tree, and slid down into a sitting position.

Really, it shouldn't have bothered her. She'd never hurt anyone on Splendor unless she absolutely had to. Never on purpose. And there was the violence ban as well. There was no reason for this to get to her, or at least, that's what she kept telling herself. She wasn't a threat. She knew that. She knew that. Really.

....But it didn't change the fact that there was once a time the word could be applied to her, and that's what bothered her. Was he right in asking so quickly, or was he not?

....

She didn't know. So she just sat there, huddled with her face down on her knees, doing her best to keep from sobbing.
