because three is the number of the day

Three Things That Make Me Want To Beat Myself Unconscious With A Toaster
a] there are less than four weeks left til the semester ends. Which means that, in the near future (and by the near future I mean from halfway through thanksgiving break until December 15) I will be living in the library, surviving on a strict diet of air and crazy.
b] for art class, I have to go to the MoMA to see a Brice Marden exhibit. As if this were not enough, I then have to write a paper about it. *bleeds from soul a little*
c] my don is pretty much obsessed with sex, and it's traumatizing.

Three Things That Give Me Initiative Not To Beat Myself Unconscious With A Toaster
a] mad dancing with Gwennie and Liza to Flogging Molly
b] were I actually in a position wherein I legitimately wished to be unconscious, there are infinitely better, less cliche objects with which to attain that goal.
Which sounds more hardcore:
- "I knocked myself out with a toaster"
or
"I knocked myself out with one of those floppy rubber rat thingys"
c] the weather appears to have finally caught on to the fact that it is not late August/early September.

Three Things That Have Occurred Over The Last Seven Days That Have Given Me Further Initiative Not To Beat Myself Unconscious With A Toaster [or a floppy rat thingy. or a lightbulb. or a shrubbery. or a herring. or anything else that might be used for that purpose]
a] I met my new therapist on thursday, and I'm very pleased with her.
b] I found enough money near the Pub[e] today to do the wash cycle of a load of laundry - five quarters and a penny. I usually find one quarter every two weeks - five in one day is pretty feckin' roxorz.
c] on Friday, I had an excellent talk with my favorite professor from last year.

also
- Rob has just introduced me to the Italian version of the Nighmare Before Christmas soundtrack.

all in all, a pretty good day.
