As I become more and more accustomed to other forms of social media besides LiveJournal, I find that certain information suits different audiences better than others. My parents and extended family can read my Facebook, so I am unlikely to talk about girls there. My real life friends can read my twitter, so I am unlikely to talk about my internet ( Read more... )

1. Oh, I'm well aware of that. Half my flist is cute, geeky, non-murderous girls who I've met in person. But none of them are talking to me on a dating site and have a hobby/potential occupation that is the most awesome thing ever. There has to be something to balance those things out.

2. That actually doesn't surprise me. I'm pretty sure one of my friends and his fiancee met via a dating site, but I've never gotten a straight story from him.

3. It's an organ about the size of your fist on the left side of your body. It acts as a blood reservoir and filter, helping to reduce illness. If it's ruptured (usually after being poked by a broken rib), it needs to be removed quickly or else you may die. A person can live without their spleen, but they are likely to be sick more often and they will lose my respect.

4. I'm not really nervous so much as I expect it (it's just how that site goes for me, so I'm used to it). And considering I've spent a few messages going "Oh, that is so cool" I doubt she has any good reason to suspect I'm going to stop.
