Meh! I can't go see it... this, Transformers... and omg, the memories of Strawberry Shortcake, ruined by the NEW SS... Every teen is trying to live out the 80's, and uh-uh... sorry. It was the Golden Age of Saturday Morning Cartoons, horrible hair/clothes style, and McDonald's. Nowadays it's all carbon-copied BLAH. :P People are getting too lost in retro stuff, instead of creating their OWN genre.
See, I do kind of agree with you. Like every old video game in the universe being reissued on a newer platform? Yeah. And it seems like more than half the movies that come out are remakes, sequels, or book adaptations. But I kind of came in on the tail end of 80s horror/glory, and I couldn't pass up an opportunity to go see a Ninja Turtles movie live in theaters with my little brother.
I am scared of the Transformers movie. Deeply, deeply afraid. And god-awfully curious.
