- Nerdy!Person A coming the very moment Person B stops beating people up.
Ji Hoon swiped an arm over his mouth, wincing when the coarse fabric of his uniform caught against his torn lip. Glancing down, he sneered at the dipshit about to pass out at his feet and spat at the ground next to him. The man flinched visibly and Ji Hoon had to suppress a vicious smirk from blooming on his face. With a well-placed kick and an audible crack at the sternum the guy passed out, shrill scream cut short. A squeak at his left had him whipping around ready to punch the lights out of the next shit Jaehyo had sent.
He stopped. It was some scared little kid, clutching at his bag like it was a lifeline.
‘What the hell?’ Ji Hoon thought to himself. ‘What the fuck is Jaehyo playing at?’
“Who the hell are you?” he intoned disinterestedly, scratching at drying flakes of blood across his knuckles. “If Jaehyo sent you, you might want to take a look around before you start anything.”
“N-no,” the stranger replied, voice hitching. “I was just-. What I mea-. Um. Excuse me.”
The kid tried to skirt around him with trembling lips and shifty eyes. The second he made eye contact he looked down timidly. His thin arms were shaking so much that his bag almost spilled across the alleyway; he pushed large, foggy glasses up the bridge of his nose with a quivering hand. JiHoon snorted, definitely some just some kid.
“Hey kid,” he called, rolling his eyes when the boy jumped. “Where’s the nearest train station?”
JiHoon watched interested as the kid seemed to bristle, indignant, back straightening and shoulders squaring. His jaw twitched and his mouth opened to reply. Oh, this was going to be good.
- Person A stopping Person B from leaving by holding on to their wrist AND Person A being forced to work for Person B because of a drunken incident
“You’re going to meet me here every day at three-fifteen. Don’t be late and don’t even think of hiding from me.”
Taeil would be astounded and a little floored if he was actually accepting this moment in his life as reality and not some kind of weirdly accurate and vivid dream. Thi kid, no other term for him, was demanding the impossible and he truly no idea how he even go into he present situation.
“Understand?” the other asked, impatiently
“Excuse me?” he asked feeling faint. “When did I even agree to this? No, better question. Who are you and how did this happen?&rdquo
The taller male smirked down at him; Taeil leaned back a little, feeling a little intimidated by the huge height difference - what the hell were they feeding this kid? The other gave him a deliberate leer and snickered loudly.
“Name’s Pyo Jihoon. I’m the owner of the car that you wrecked.” he replied. “I saw your note. My terms have been laid out. What about you kid? You going to keep your end?&rdquo
Taeil’s eyes widened in horror. Shit. This was the owner of the car Th car. Memories of three nights ago came back with a vengeance; Minhyuk and Kyung pouring glass after glass of tequila shots after his latest romantic mishap. Minhyuk and Kyung ordering beer after beer once he downed all the shots at the table. Minhyuk and Kyung dragging him totally drunk and sobbing and laughing out of the bar. Minhyuk and Kyung taking the metal rod out of his hands that he used to bash in the windows of the car he thought was his ex’s. Fuckin Minhyukand Kyungwriting a note and leaving it on the shattered remains of the windshield he broke.
A note that read: Hi, I’m Lee Taeil. Sorry, I’m drunk and thought your car was my ex’s. Can do housework to repay you; I look super cute, especially in a skirt. And on the back, placed so fucking conveniently, was his address. He had th bestfriends.
Taeil’s face burned in embarrassment and fury; once he explained the situation to this gigantic kid, he was going to hunt those two down and make them eat dirt.
“I’m really sorry,” he replied face red. “My friends were drunk when they wrote that note. I can pay you back I swear, let me just get my wallet and I’ll let yo-.”
Taeil tried to go around Jihoon but his wrist was caught in a firm grip. He was yanked back sharply so that his face was a literal inch away from the other’s chest. He looked up timidly and the other just gave him a mischievous grin.
“You promised me in your note that you’d do my housework. I don’t need your money.” he spoke airily. “Meet here at three-fifteen on the dot, every day and when I feel that you’ve repaid your debt you can go. Until then,”
Here, he paused and leaned down until he was right by Taeil’s ear.
“You’re mine.” he whispered.
Taeil backed away quickly, a hand at his ear and face still burning a fiery red.
He watches him walking away and it’s in that moment that he forgets his previous fear and apprehension becaus JiHoon is leaving. One more step and he’s sure that his heart is going to fall to pieces but his mouth is frozen and his hands are shaking.
“Please,” he whispers like the word will bring him salvation
JiHoon doesn’t even turn around; he scoffs but stops and Taeil feels like he can breathe again
“Please, what?” JiHoon replies sardonically. “Please, JiHoon, stay so I can break your heart some more? Please, JiHoon, for my sake please pretend that I don’t care for you?&rdquo
He turns around and Taeil feels his heart stop; tears. There are tears on JiHoon’s face, tears are streaming down strong, beautiful unbreakable, unstoppableJiHoon’s face
“What do you want from me Taeil? I can give you the world, I can give you the sun and the stars but what’s the use when you can’t even say that you lo-.” JiHoon stops short, stoically wiping tears from his face. “I can’t anymore.&rdquo
He starts to move away but Taeil’s feet covers the distance between them quickly. His one hand clings to JiHoon’s sleeve tightly.
“Please,” he chokes. “Please don’t leave me. I hate being alone, I hate being by myself and sometimes I hate myself because I’ve convinced myself that you’re going to leave me the minute I become happy and settled. So I don’t want to get close and lose myself. But I know that I’m never going to be happy without you so either way I lose and JiHoon please.&rdquo
JiHoon tries to stop him but he’s blabbing and running his mouth, speaking thoughts he’s wanted to say for days, weeks months ut could never find the nerve to confess. His head is downcast and he can feel the tears wetting the edge of his shirt but he doesn’t care. All he cares about is JiHoon and how much it will hurt if JiHoon leaves
“I don’t want to let you go,” he babbles, voice hitching with unexpressed sobs. “I want to keep you for myself. I don’t want anyone else saying they like you because you’r mine. nd I know I’m never going to be happy with anyone else because no one else compares to you. I miss you when I don’t see you at least once a day and I get mad when you don’t text me back. I like it when you take me out and I hate it when we fight. I don’t want - I will never want anyone else because you’re already too good for me. I don’t want to know what it’s like to live life without you because that’s worse than death. I feel like the dumbest person on the planet because half the things I’ve said are from those cheesy romantic movies that we hate but this is how I really feel and. And- And.&rdquo
Taeil’s voice cracks and he has to bite his lip furiously to stop from breaking down
“And what?” JiHoon asks gently.
“And I love you.” Taeil finally sobs out, crying into his hands. “I love you and now you’re going to leave me too.&rdquo
A rustle of fabric tells him that the other had moved closer and he can see the silhouette of the taller male in front of him, hands reach out and he tries to flinch back but he isn’t quick enough. JiHoon is holding him by his wrists, trying to move his hands away from his red, blotchy face but he won’t let him see. He can’t look at JiHoon and then watch him leave
“Taeil, baby, look at me.” JiHoon commands softly. “I want you to look at me.&rdquo
Taeil looks up, tears still in his eyes and sniffling but he looks. JiHoon is smiling softly and looking happier than he had been for a while. Thumbs come up and brush stray tears from his eyes as he looks at JiHoon in wonder. He brings his hands up and rests them on the larger, warm hands cradling his face
“I’m sorry,” he whispers, feeling his tears renewing. “I’m really sorry.&rdquo
But JiHoon just smiles and rests his forehead on his, smiling widely. He places a chaste kiss on his forehead, his damp cheeks, the sides of his neck, his fingertips and his nose. A hand tilts his head back and lips covers his own and Taeil finally feels complete.
Taeil drags him at a hurried pace, chattering happily; he bites back curses as he nearly trips over his own feet again. Taeil turns to look at him, worried but he already has a large smile pasted on to his face. The other smiles back adorably and JiHoon has to stop himself from reaching out and touching that beatific smile.
“We’re almost there JiHoon!” Taeil breathes excitedly, ducking underneath low branches
JiHoon winces as branches hit and slap his face and torso; whatever the hell Taeil had to show him better not be farther. As much as he loves his boyfriend - and believe him, he loves Taei a lo - he is not going to trek through the entire country. Taeil stops abruptly in front of him and they almost crash to the ground. He winds his arms around Taeil’s waist to steady them and he gives a sheepish smile down at Taeil
“Sorry,” he chuckles, ducking his head. Taeil just smiles at him through his lashes
“No, I’m sorry. I thought we were going the wrong way for a second.”
“Where are we going anyway? You’ve been so goddamn secretive about this place ever since we’ve gotten here.”
“Hm, I don’t know yet.” Taeil replies.
A surge of confusion floods his head before irritated affection runs through JiHoon and he finds himself pinning the smaller male against the nearest tree. Taeil just looks at him with laughing eyes and secret smiles and suddenly JiHoon realizes that he was led astray
“You little,” he playfully growls at the other, nipping at his throat briefly. “Little liar.&rdquo
Taeil just stretches up and places a sweet kiss on his lips that leaves him breathless and ridiculously giddy - hell, he’s actually delirious with happiness if he’s using the wor giddy.
“There’s nothing out here is there?” he murmurs against thin lips. He feels the pout forming against his mouth and he bites down gently on a protruding lower lip. He sucks at it briefly before kissing him again, open mouthed and wet.
“Nothing but peace and quiet - unlike our dorm,” Taeil lazily replies. “Happy anniversary.”
