Of warm weather and spiders.
Really, if there's one thing I hate about sweltering HOT days it is the fact that the number of spiders that decide to spin their webs increase dramatically....
I mean - what are the chances of walking into a newly spun web a number of times in a day? It's bad enough, to walk into a web between two cars (and it wasn't even there a couple of hours before)...but to know that I couldn't 'destroy' the web because of XxxHolic is just a tad weird, even for me, right? But then, even if I didn't read XxxHolic, and even if I didn't mind losing an eye, I'd probably still stand there flabbergasted (from walking into a web and pretty much bouncing back in shock) for a while before going around the car anyway. Or whatnot.
And it's not even Summer yet.
Oh, and the washing! It really annoys me when I can't hang the washing properly because I don't want to rid the spider webs that hang from the lines. (It really isn't because I'm too lazy to get rid of them, or the fact that there's nothing around I could twirl the web around, or because I'd feel guilty for destroying the spider's hard work with a simple swipe. Really) So, the solution?
Call someone else to come do the hanging of the washing (and make up a convenient excuse so you don't seem TOO suspicious. As if I didn't already, walking into the house holding a wet shirt and pegs. ==")
I don't even want to think about what it'll be like when Summer rolls around. Just imagine the insane amount of flies that'll be dancing around. You wouldn't even be able to open your mouth and hope that one doesn't just carelessly go treasure hunting inside your mouth. Urgh. And then the mosquitos will come drop by, and the days of eating bananas will be scarce....and...welcome the itchy mosquito bites. Ahhh...the joys of warm weather. Oh gosh....I'm already missing the cooler weather (and I wouldn't be wasting as much water....since I won't have to go scrub my skin raw to rid of the tingly feel of skin against the spider's web.)
