The first 6 icons are of from an icontest held at bssmawards where we had to make as many icons as we could from one image. HERE is the image that I chose to do.

17 was so simple to make that I was embarrassed when it took first place at an icontest. There was another icon in that icontest that I knew had taken a lot of work to do and it came in second to mine. *blushes*

Aw, don't be embarrassed! Simple is good! Sometimes it's easier to just keep piling on layer after layer when you have no idea what to do. ^^

The worst thing is when you enter 2 icons in a contest & the one you think is kinda blah places & the one you adore gets no love.

me too! I had that happen several times. Especially that the first place icons were CRAP! It looked like it was done in MSPaint while mine took 30 minutes to do in photoshop.
