003- April... fish?
I’ve met a ‘brother’ of sorts. He’s not Mega Man, but he has the same name and looks way too similar for my comfort. He wasn’t around during our rebellion; he wasn’t even activated until a century later. And apparently there aren’t any records of what we did then. I think I’ll take that as a sign that I shouldn’t mention my involvement in Dr. Wily’s plans. I don’t think he suspects anything, anyway, and it would be in my best interest not to make any enemies, especially after that robot named Axl told me he hunts rogue robots. I’m going to have to tread carefully for a while.
Still wondering what caused that hundred-year gap between his time and mine. It had to be something huge. What if it was because of what we did? X said himself there’s no records of it. I kind of doubt it. Mega Man had stopped all of Wily’s creations so many times before, and… I like to think we weren’t on the same level as the DWNs.
X is… I’m hesitant to say ‘naïve’. It's like he assumes the best of everyone. Really optimistic. I feel a little bad lying to him. But I have to do what I have to do. I’ve been given another chance; I don’t want to screw this up.
There’s a Wily number here, too. The very first one, in fact. From what I could tell, he was brought here from a point in the timeline before I was reprogrammed, so he wouldn’t know about… what the others and I did. Not that I think he’d judge me of course.
Well, that was different. Do things like that happen often here?
I never thought I'd get a chance to have legs, even if it was only for a day (and it was someone else's legs). I hope my tail wasn't too much of a problem for you, Metal.
