Hello, hello, hello.
OMG I am slathering on lotion every hour and my office is still desiccating me. It's so dry that last week I generated a big enough static shock when I turned on my floor lamp, it woke up my computer. Have purchased a humidifier and will bring it in after break.
Speaking of my office, have just completed my end-of-semester office cleaning, and wow do I feel less frantic already (that will change Jan 3 when I'm back, when I will be hyperventilating into a paper bag at my workload). Plus, it's taken me years, but I finally got rid of the last file cabinet in my office (most of the materials I work with now are managed and stored digitally) and replaced it with much needed and useful table space. It feels all lovely and open and clean.
So yes! Alive, sleepily kicking (the Q decided to upend his excellent sleep-like-a-log habits last night and was up fussing and unhappy from 2:30 on. Oh teething, you suck.). I keep getting caught up in a cycle of "OMG, so much to update!" and then I don't post because I don't know where to start. But, I am firm with resolve to update at least once a week starting in the new year. Firm! Resolve! Indeed!
But for the moment I will leave you with this:
7 months old, 23ish lbs, 29ish inches, not v. happy about this snow business.
