One of these days I will learn not to make any sort of daily commitment in September. The daily picture meme and any substantial fannish content will return when I am not staring at my desk and wondering how to manage the mess on it without some sort of temporal flux generator.
Related to the aforementioned lack of a temporal flux generator, I am once again ridiculously behind on comments. I suck.
It's Friday, which should make me happy, except that I lose 5 or 6 hours of Sunday to the department picnic. The overtime is nice, but I'd much rather not have my weekend fucked by doing my least favorite event management event of the year. And I can't even bear to think about the clusterfuck of next week.
The unobstructed breathing thing was nice while it lasted. Things aren't as bad as last year so far, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but man, can I tell the difference just from two weeks ago. *WHEEZE* Also the not-abating joint pain can bite me.
But all is not suck, because: Dar Williams show next week! ConClave in three weeks! Writer's retreat in six weeks! Halloween and scary movies in seven weeks! And somewhere in there will be a cider mill excursion.
Also, iPod Touch apps that would make me happy happy: something that syncs with Google calendar.
And because the probability of me finishing an actual DragonCon report at this point is small, let me say DRAGONCON SQUEE!
