There and back again.
We're back. Vacation was loverly, though I have been informed that I am no longer allowed to bitch about cold-weather locale choices, as it ended up being in the 80s the entire we were up there. Go figure.
There may be a travelogue to come, but given my track record on ever finishing those up, the highlights: Time with the dwinn, lovely scenery, The Holiday Inn Express in Munising, getting a look at Michigan Tech in Houghton, which was almost my alma mater (alas, in the end my desire to be 10+ hours from my mother couldn't over-ride my fear of the fuckign COLD winters up there), Whitefish Point, have now stood in three of the Great Lakes (only Ontario and Erie left), and much-needed rest and relaxation.
