It's a perfectly nice sentiment (especially compared to some of the things people say), and I know people so often don't know what to say, but seriously? If that showed up in my mailbox I'd probably either burst into tears (and not the good kind), or fall over laughing. Either way, probably not the response the sender would hope for.
