Today was one of those days I should have not interacted with the world-at-large, for my stupidity tolerance threshold is set way too low lately.
I realized this while standing in line at my confectionary downfall (Coldstone) and contemplating taking a balloon away from a small child and whacking said child and her mother with it. It seemed only fair, considering how many times I had been hit with the balloon.
And then there was the girl at the counter who, so focused on flirting with the guys in line behind me, seemed confused by the concept that them standing behind me meant that they were in fact NOT next in line.
In retaliation, I ordered larger containers than I'd planned of the hardest-to-scoop ice cream.
Sometimes being petty has sweet rewards.
