Dear God, you'd think the way I've been hemming and hawing and procrastinating on starting the OMG MA PROJECT that I was being required to shove slivers of wood under my fingernails or something.
But I now have an outline, and have blocked out 13 pages of the paper. The hardest part has long been done, since I've been building my arguments and support for this topic for the last few years. So the lit review and theory section is all cobbled together with older material I've written on the topic - I just need to streamline and rewrite all my old arguments and expand on some of the theory a bit.
So. Damned. Close.
In celebration of finally shutting up and putting up about the project and the great weather, I stopped at Lane Bryant to pick up some spring-y shirts and some shorts and walked out with a new summer wardrobe. Really, what can you do when the woman at the counter says, "Well, we're having a spend X, get Y off, so if you go pick out $45 more, you'll pay end up paying less than the current total."
After that, I decided discretion was the better part of frugality and passed on the planned shoe shopping.
