Portfolio review went well. Very well. So well, in fact, that it ended an hour and a half early. Essentially, the feedback on my portfolio and project proposal was "This is great! Can we use it as a model for other students? Um, maybe put X and Y in your intro. I'm so glad you're doing this topic. And you should submit it to an education journal. And we want copies. Now go home and write it."

So, outline to advisor by next week, first draft of 25-30 page rationale to committee by March 1, final draft of rationale and annotated bibliography by April 1 (which is optimistic shorthand for the week before graduation).

OMG. It really is almost over.

Of course, before that point, Paradox might kill me in my sleep in revenge for today's $400 worth of torture: sedation, tooth cleaning and extraction, xrays, catheterization, bloodwork, vaccinations, and 10 days of giant antibiotic pills for a urinary infection. And on top of that, a bath the minute he got home, because he peed himself in the carrier.

Every time I turn around, he's lurking in the shadows, looking like a drowned rat and glaring at me like he want to eat my face off.
