Haha. No worries about the rant. It's actually good to know. XD I haven't been selling online that long, but I have encountered some pretty bad buyers on ebay. The worst was this one buyer who contacted me asking me to lift one of my bidding restrictions because they were "unjustly" given a strike by another seller. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I allowed them to bid. Then when they won the item, they asked me if they could pay for the item later than my listing specified. Hesitantly, I allowed it. Then, when it came time for them to pay, they never sent payment, so I had to email them reminding them that payment was due. They sent it, and it seemed like everything was going to be fine, but they put a note on their payment requesting that I send the item to somewhere in Canada, when my listing specifically said that I do not ship outside the USA. :\ When I told them that I already accommodated them enough by lifting the bidding restriction and by giving them a payment extension, they angrily told me that I should do whatever they want because they already paid. And when I explained that the listing price was calculated based on domestic postage and not international postage, they said that they could pay the extra shipping cost if I waited for another week. By then, I was so frustrated that I just took the hit in shipping costs and sent it to them in Canada and blocked them. Luckily, they gave me positive feedback, but it was the worst experience I had selling. >_

oh man! I've had an issue with a straight out non-paying buyer on ebay but at least it didn't come with the coercing time wasting that you had to go through x_x; They were just completely silent even after I filed the non-payer claim etc, and it was just a pain having to wait the full time when it was obvious they weren't ever going to pay XD; That was a buyer from Mexico, so now I'm just not allowing international shipping... xD It looks like ebay has an option to send to their distribution center and they handle the international shipping, but I haven't looked into whether that's a reliable/good option or heard from others who use it.

But omggg you took the hit in the end... *HUG* likely I wouldn't have done that and I would've reported it to ebay instead, I'm really into seller's protective rights so I would've been stubborn about that until the very end XDDDD But then there's also how much money you could still get out of it so I can see why you would possibly take the hit, so I still would've considered that too xD Thanks for sharing that too!
