PLAY THE PS3 TALES GAMES!!!! YES YES YES!! \o/ Can I also gloat about the upcoming Xillia bringing in MUCH EXCITEMENT that the Tales series deserves *cough*overFinalFantasy*cough*? XDDD; Although I do still enjoy FF titles for the most part personally, I just think they're way too overrated

But yeah, there are Tales of Vesperia and Graces F out for the PS3 right now, they're both fine titles (although I have minor gameplay flaws to pick with either of them, but I have those for just about any game in existence XD) and I definitely recommend them ASAP! They're the only games I felt worth every single yen/cent (+ Trusty bell, but that's because I got that for really cheap anyway) on the PS3.

For PSP I'd recommend Tales of Rebirth and then picking off the cleared 3-time game save from Gamefaqs (assume you're using custom firmware too) XD ... But if it's your first Tales game ever it'd probably be better to do it as is for a while at least, another reason why I say just start with the PS3 games :O

massive tales fan friend is an offline friend :D I reorganized his game shelf once (lol I'm ocd :'D) and noticed he had a ton of tales games :O
after your encouragement to play graces f (and friend told me about a dlc where you can get the mc voiced by sakurai to cosplay as suzaku from geass!) I think I'm going to borrow his graces f \:D/

I've been keeping an eye on Xillia news too! (sugita's in it!) but think I'll be getting el shaddai in april XDDD

:/ out of all the ps3 games I've bought... I think... nier mighttt be worth every cent I spent on... valkyria chronicles was worth it too (but I bought it on special XD).

UNF I kinda wanted to get those DLC but I can't afford to get all of them ORZ
The Geass ones are 500 yen each while most of the others are 400 yen. I ended up getting other ones for now like the .hack//Roots also for the Sakurai ref XD (some of these DLC come with custom battle themes and victory phrases too!)
omgggg, if you do get those DLC do you want to swap? TwT;; purchased DLC contents are shareable to 5 different consoles as long as you log into that user's PSN account, so I setup my account so that I'd be willing to share it with someone if they had something to share back and I trust them XD;
Plus I had to ask a friend in Japan to help me getting a PSN card for the Japanese store, so I was only able to get 5000 yen of DLCs (I got a few Vesperia ones too). uuuu, the moneysucking XD;

Ee yeah Sugitan in Xillia, I wonder if he's going to be the usual "ossan" or at least just one of the oldest of the playables XD;;

; _ ; my friend's tales game is asian, not jpn... from memory asian games can only use asian dlc and won't work for jpn games... well I don't mind trying incase it does work :'D

Strange, I heard going from asian-jpn and vise versa DOES work according to the Tales LJ coms and random finds on gamefaqs but I don't know from personal experience XD; I don't mind trying either! :3

ah! I forgot I also have the Hatsune Miku costume for Sophie (also not on the Asia DLC site) which is REALLY nice especially because her original outfit is not so much, lol

There probably is some region blocking on dlcs and games, but would depend on the game I guess XD??

asia has everything jpn psn has except for the geass costumes.
the prices for the costumes in asia psn are cheaper than jpn psn too (32$HKD vs 400jpy).
Damn these costumes are not cheap! Banco Namdai knows how to milk tales fans lol

Wahh no Geass~ XDDD I actually don't care dip about Geass as a series but the costumes are still nice. Also when I did the exchange rates both the Asia and Japan PSN about the same prices for me in USD XD But the Asia PSN didn't want to take my credit card either so I still had to get a friend to get me a PSN card (the one in Japan).

It's total milking indeed, so I only got the ones I REALLLLY wanted XDDD I'm still interested in a lot of the other School Academy uniforms and the girls have some other neat costumes I wouldn't mind trading around for! (Idolmaster, Cheryl's devil costume, etc)
