I'm making a return to the world of cycling. We're in Colorado right now and I decided that before I try riding through mountains at 9k+ feet, I should start a little lower. In this case, we'll take Colorado Springs at around 6k+.
Definitely a good ride for my first in the higher altitudes. Many good hills and a good long 3 mile accent back up to our hotel. Good warm up.
Speaking of warming up, afterwards went to
Colorado Springs Bike Shop and FINALLY made some necessary purchases for winter riding. Long-sleeved Jersey. Full Fingered gloves and Thermal Tights! Winter riding is back!
Location: Colorado Springs - all over the place
Time: Unknown, couple of hours
Distance: 18.9 miles
