Mark has done really well up to this point, but as I said above, he and Kherington were both off this week in a major way. Personally, Comfort has done nothing for me, and I know a fair number of people feel that way on forums like _sytycd_, so I can't imagine she is a major ratings draw over Jessica, I would think that's just a rumor floating around. Frankly, I would have been much more interested in getting Kourtni L. or Rayven back, ladies who never had much chance to "step up" with another partner, which Comfort did (Chris, then Thayne). Blergh, someone pointed out that Comfort now officially ties with Sara from last year if she gets eliminated next week. *shudder* That just shows how great last season was, Sara is WAY better than Comfort by a gazillion miles.
I totally agree, though, Gev was a good guy and did a very respectable job, especially in his solos. I saw in one of the _sytycd_ threads where someone admitted they have a bias against b-boys and hip-hop dancers, it's not something they relate to and have a hard time getting past for some reason. Probably a fair number of people feel that way and that's why he couldn't quite pick up the votes. By the way, I thought Mark's solo on Thursday night (the one that didn't really matter) was much better than his Wed performance. Gotta wonder how much nerves played a part, especially with the transition from old to new partners.
