A prayer (somewhat facetious)
Dear Lord,
Please humble Tom DeLay, make him grovel before you and the American people. Strip him of his power and cast him among the common folk he scorns so much. Please allow President Bush to grow a brain stem, to realize he should not be doing air guitar during a national tragedy or nominating his unqualified personal attorney/secretary for the Supreme Court. Please let the rest of the Republican Party remember that Lincoln freed the slaves, that there is a difference between being supportive of the president and being cowed by corrupt & out-of-touch leadership. Please bless the American people and all officials in government, give them wisdom to make better choices. Amen.
P.S. - If Paul Wolfowitz was destroyed, this would be cause for much celebration. Thank you.
