(no subject)
It's saturday, I was up kinda late last night, but for some reason, I woke up before 7. Why can't I sleep late anymore? I'm broken or something. It kind of sucks.
Yesterday I got to spend a bunch of time with Lauren, which is absolultey great, but far too uncommon. It won't happen again until next friday. Stupid school, making us all busy all of the time.
Speaking of school, I don't like thesis much. I didn't get as much work done this week as I planned. I'm not really tragically behind schedule, my only fear is that this week, I'll be just as disinterested in doing work as I was for the past seven days. Can't wait till it's over.
I've done some work to rewrite my photo album scripts on my website. I keep finding myself having to do little things like that just to keep my sanity in between all the school work and finance meetings I'm being subjected to.
And now that I've mentioned finance meetings, let me complain about them a little. I don't actually mind being in the meetings, and I even think what we're doing is important. I just don't really have the time for two hour meetings three times per week. Oh, and tomorrow, we've got an all day marathon finance meeting from 10-6. At least they're feeding me at it. Although I will be missing a crawfish boil because of it, so it all balances out in an unfortunate, not particularly happy way. Such is life I guess.
I need to put some significant effort into really figuring out my living situation for next year. There's a good chance I'll just end up here again, since this place is fairly nice, and I'm too busy/lazy to go find anything else. I just wish the kitchen was nicer. I bet if I spend some time really thinking about it, I could figure out a way to improve it enough to make it decent. Wherever I end up, I'll probably be roommates with Doug again, which is a good thing. He's a good guy, and he has a gamecube. Worth keeping around.
